When you lower MacOS’s resolution down to anything below Native, now you’ve got blurred text. My Dell, my IPad Air and my Android phone see the network, printer. If you see Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline are ticked. Problem number 4 I can't set this printer as the default printer option. If the problem continues, your Brother machine will need service. Uncheck the “Use Printer Offline” option. Connected via HDMI the monitor was recognised as a TV and was in YPbPr mode. It seems the best solution is not to buy a DELL monitor! But this worked for me. I've searched and found a solution here, but it didn't fix my problem. I just bought a new Dell external display (U2312hm) for my MacBook Pro Retina. The S2721DGF has better ergonomics, faster response time, and lower input lag. The S2721QS delivers sharper text and has better color accuracy out of the box. The S2721QS is a 4k monitor with a basic 60Hz panel while the S2721DGF is a gaming monitor with a 1440p resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.
